FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH veröffentlichen heute eine neue Feature Version ihres Songs “Burn MF”, für die sie sich niemand Geringeren als Rob Zombie ins Boot geholt haben. Der neue Song ist Teil des, am 1. Dezember erscheinenden 10th Anniversary Releases „The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1 & Volume 2“, zum zehnjährigen Jubiläum der beiden Alben aus dem Jahr 2013, welche in Form eines limitierten Vinyl Box Sets sowie Digital neu veröffentlicht werden.
The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1 ist das vierte Studioalbum von FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH und das erste von zwei Alben, die die Band im Jahr 2013 veröffentlichte. Es erschien am 30. Juli 2013. Das Album debütierte in den US-amerikanischen Billboard 200 Charts auf Platz 2, ihrer bis dato höchsten US Chartposition, mit 113.000 verkauften Exemplaren in der ersten Woche. Das Album wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit Kevin Churko produziert und erreichte mit über 1 Million verkaufter Exemplare Platinstatus in US. In Deutschland schaffte es das Album auf Platz 4 der Deutschen Album Charts.
Zum Eröffnungssong des Albums und der ersten Singleauskopplung „Lift Me Up“ mit Judas Priest-Sänger Rob Halford sagt Sänger Ivan Moody: „Mit einer Ikone wie Rob Halford, dem Metal God, zusammenzuarbeiten, war absolut surreal.“ Die 3. Single des Albums war der Titeltrack „Wrong Side of Heaven“ und wurde der bis dato größte Hit der Band. Das offizielle Video zu dem Song wurde bis heute über 400 Millionen Mal angesehen.
The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 2 ist das fünfte Studioalbum der Band und wurde am 19. November 2013 veröffentlicht. Es wurde ebenfalls in Zusammenarbeit mit Kevin Churko produziert und von der RIAA mit Gold ausgezeichnet. Es stieg auf Platz 2 der US Billboard 200 und auf Platz 1 der US Top Rock Albums ein und verkaufte in der ersten Woche 77.000 Exemplare. Hierzulande schaffte es das Album auf die 13 der Deutschen Album Charts. Die erste Single, „Battle Born“, wurde am 10. September 2013 veröffentlicht. Der Titel des Songs ist eine Anspielung auf die Flagge von Nevada, dem Heimatstaat der Band. Die zweite Single, eine Coverversion des The Animals-Klassikers „House of the Rising Sun“, wurde am 3. Februar 2014 veröffentlicht.
FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH haben außerdem eine limitierte Neuauflage ihres achten Studioalbums „F8“veröffentlicht, das es nun erstmals auch auf Kassette gibt. Das Album wurde ursprünglich am 28. Februar 2020 weltweit veröffentlicht und ist ab sofort als exklusives Gold Vinyl erhältlich.
„F8“ stieg weltweit auf Platz 1 der Rock Charts ein, mit Top 10 Mainstream Chart Debüts in den USA, Deutschland, Österreich, der Schweiz, UK, Australien, Kanada, Finnland, Schweden und mehr. „F8“ enthält die #1-Hitsingles „Inside Out“, „A Little Bit Off“, „Living The Dream“ und „Darkness Settles In“.
